I tried it. And I LOVED doing this instead of my essay for the end of the semester on history. I've got history rrrrright next in my "to do" list.
This is my attempt of drawing something decsent, which means - with the background. Kethavel of "Later Skyrim" period is in Cyrodiil, in the city of Chorrol. And that's the Moon Shadow she's using, which means someone is not gonna sleep tonight, no. Or wake. I think I'm going to right something on this. Her face expression tells me so.
I really enjoy it when people bend the lore and make it their own. And it's clear that you've given it some thought. I think with respect to reproduction, there is enough flexibility given in the game (even in the book mentioned above) and your explanation here is terrific.
*giggles stupidly* *red as a boiled crab* ^_^" Don't take it wrong, I do respect the lore, but thing is, in basic biology things just don't Always go by the book and follow the rules straight. Yes, I'm recognized with the fact of how normal half-breeds inherit their parents' phenotype. I have another half-blood that actually follows those rules. BUT. Imagine, in real world there are a lot interesting biological deviations (albinos, and partly albinos, for example, and I've met a whole bunch of those white-haired men on the net), I don't see why I wouldn't use one type of those. Of course, concerning the fact that that'll make a character look like a freak, that it will not draw positive attention to her from the rest of the society, that if some details of her appearance are not concealed she will give herself out just anywhere (scars, height, skin color), but if properly masked, she will be able to play a member of either race in certain circumstances (being a background character, of course, because up close it is nearly impossible). Keth's way was never supposed to be light and easy. She was supposed to live with this, and she did, the whole damn long life! So I was kind of prepared for the moment when someone would say that "it's not by the book to the letter". Nope. It's not. And it was never meant to be. ...I must quit my babbling, really, it's getting terrible sometimes. ^_^" It wasn't meant to be agressive. Thank you again.)
By all means, babble. I am obsessed with The Elder Scrolls and love listening to people who think about these things as much as I do. That's one of the reasons I read RP blogs on Tumblr, even though I don't have time to role play myself. And I honestly believe that TES lore is supposed to be flexible so that people can make it their own. Nicely done. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.
^________^ Thank youuuu! I decided there should be a day I'd progress a bit before the next exam, and, luckily, there it was! ...I babble to much, don't I. >_>"
